v3.03a :: a quick security patch
Hello all,

A quick note to let you know I've just released fuzzylime (cms) v3.03a. This is because there was a potential vulnerability in the trackback file, allowing access to local files.

v3.03 :: bugfixes
Hello all,

A quick update today to add a smattering of bugfixes to the script. The only new feature: individual blog entries now show the entry title in your browser's title bar. It might not be exciting, but it is new!

Get it now on the download page.

v3.02 :: at long last
It's taken a while, but finally there's a new proper release of fuzzylime (cms) - by which I mean one that does more than just fix security problems!

The new version adds the ability to play video and audio throughout the site (instead of just video on blog pages) as well as a selection of useful bug-fixes and minor new features. Nothing earth-shattering, but a good mix of little things which should make your site just that bit better.

Ha, I just noticed that I wrote in September last year that v3.02 would be coming "some time over the next month". That wasn't entirely successful, but at least we're there in the end!

For a full list of new features and bugfixes, you can check the download page. You should be able to update to the new version automatically from within your site's installation.

v3.01 :: out, but not very exciting
I've been very lax at updating the script since it came out in June. The main reason is that I wanted to make sure that, whenever I did the first update, it was a great one - adding loads of requested features and squashing every bug I could find.

Funny how things work out.

In the past couple of days, I became aware of some security alerts about the script. One of them was very unlikely to be used (and was in an external script anyway) but the other was more serious and could have, in theory, revealed Apache passwords and suchlike. Haven't seen it in use in the wild, but just in case, I thought it was best to do a very quick 3.01 update to fix these and bump the next proper release to 3.02, which will come when I get things finished.

So keep an eye out for that one some time over the next month (hopefully!) and meantime, I recommend you update ASAP. Remember, it's now really easy - just log in as your site admin and click on the link. Everything should work fine; I personally had problems with permissions on a couple of files, so you might want to check they're set up OK if you get any errors.
